Day 2: First-Date
This was a fun experiment to try and be a little looser with coloring. I think I like how it came out :3 it was fun to do.
I picture their first date being on Beast Island together and Wrong Hordak getting to play butler. I think the made custom outfits for everyone somehow.

Sometimes I think I might have imagined the level of neglect I lived through as a child, and then my Mum says something that makes me realise that NOPE if anything, I am underplaying it.
I was ranting to my husband this morning about something my Mum said that just perfectly showed off how absolutely fucked her priorities are. My husband never criticises my Mum (even when he has good cause to), but this time he said: "Well, yeah, I was pretty shocked when she made you feel like the asshole for not drinking while you were pregnant".
And yes, M, that is an extremely fucked up thing to do. Thanks for reminding me.
Like, shall we talk about how I had very complex needs as a child that were totally ignored, leading to major consequences in my adult life? After having my son, I reached a stage of "she fell majorly short as a parent, but I understand why and I feel bad for her too," which for a while was cathartic and helpful for me, but now I'm like ??? Bitch you can't just ignore your child needing to be fucking hospitalised because your husband left you and you're not a natural mother? Wtf? Be so for fucking real Emma that was not a good thing to normalise for yourself?

Reason 12938330# why I want to move home: we could go to the cinema again.
Things suck a little right now but my son comes and looks for me whenever I leave a room and I can hear him singing Mama, Mama, and his little feet pattering away as he searches the flat and that's good. Very good. More than enough, really. Everything.
I need to stop buying baby clothes on Vinted because people will be like "I can't find what you paid for but don't worry I'll replace it with something sinilar" and the something similar is the ugliest thing you've ever seen but I'm too polite to say anything so I'm just like "oh 🥲 thanks 🥲".
Also, apparently I'm crazy for thinking you should only list things if they're ready to be sold. Like if I ever sell Moomin's stuff I'd take photos then pop it straight in a box so I knew where it was...that seems logical to me.
