OUT. || I KNOW, RIGHT? Them opening the whole ass show with Reggie gassing Alex up. Their ability to have full conversations with each other onstage with just looks. The way Alex offers to let Reggie hide behind him if he’s scared. The way Reggie checks in on Alex when he has to say goodbye to Willie. The way Reggie literally helps to uplift Alex when they book the Orpheum. This enemies to friends trope is taking too long and I’m starting to give up hope.

They all had their places they went when the world needed to quiet down, and the roof of the garage had always been Reggie’s place, ever since he’d figured out how to shimmy out of the loft window and find a foothold, hoisting himself up.

Nowadays, it was a little easier, wishing himself there with a thought and a will, but returning to a place that had been so significant in his life made him feel like he existed a little bit more.
