I am fairly new to being a puppy, and don't have a partner. So I wanted to ask, pup to pup, what's it like?
ugh my phone deleted my first response to this so im gonna try again
i got interested in pup play quite a few years ago, but my girlfriend (mommy/owner/mistress on here) is the one who really helped me explore it and made me feel safe enough to explore it. while the toys make it and keep it fun and interesting (collars, ears, leashes, etc.), to me pup play is truly about being able to hand over control to another person i trust and to put aside my worries and responsibilities (which is good for my mental health as someone with GAD lol). it’s also, for me, not just about the sexual aspect/appeal. i like to use ‘puppy mode’ when i’m having a bad day or i’m overwhelmed and need a headspace free of anything human (chores, bills, work, the list goes on…).
other than that, i also suspect (as does my autistic gf) that i have ASD. i enjoy being nonverbal and pretending nonhuman. i’m also a furry, but that’s not necessarily related hehe.
i think pup play is very personal, and it’s important that it serves YOUR needs first.
p.s. i also think ur cool :p
p.p.s. sorry if this is too many words i got excited
