@emersiaā | ALTENNA OF THRACIA
Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Altenna was Travantās daughter.
Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Arvis did not know the girl well, but he enjoyed jovial enough relations with the king of Thracia to know his character well enough to assume that she had to be the result of... Something or other. For all his pride in all his wit and all his machinations he had failed to notice any resemblance between her and the fallen royal family of Leonster, though in fairness he had never paid Ethlyn or Quan much attention even when they hadĀ been alive. Arione was the product of some one-night tryst between the king and some fair maiden heād made into his company for the evening --- the emperor could only assume that heād done the same thing more than once, and that Altenna was just the same.
Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā It wasnāt like even he was a stranger to the idea, after all. Saias hadnāt exactly been born within wedlock...
Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Allies or not, it was still a bit awkward whenever he received the king and had to wait with his children whenever he went off. This time heād taken Arione with him, leaving him only with Altenna. The emperor drummed his fingers against the armrest of his seat and leant forward, his eyes flitting between the young girl and the nearest bookcase.
Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā āHave you met the prince and the princess yet, Princess Altenna??ā
Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā "Youāre a bit older than they are, but Iām certain the three of you would get along. Er... My children have always been fond of stories. Fairy tales especially. Are there any books there that interest you?? Iām certain that between the two of us we could find some way to pass the time.ā
