lying in bed, on a weekday evening or night, with chill bops in the background (think maggie rogers). logistically, that's when a lot of my free time is, and I also just generally prefer writing later in the day, having no interruptions, and being cozy.
18. do you only write when you're inspired, or do you try to sit and write no matter what?
over the summer, I tried to sit and write at pre-planned times, but now I only write when I'm inspired. I just could never get much out when I forced myself to sit and write, and I was starting to get frustrated with it. plus, my free time is a lot more limited now, and since I don't have any super burning/pressing things I'm dying to get out, I'd rather write only when I'm really into it!
