Ixto stirred in his stance, his hands slowing their chop of the vegetables as he glanced at Loki. It wasn’t Loki he was angry with-- nor was he angry with Sin. Though, they had not aided his mood any when he’d come home to see his living room completely upended. Not that he usually minded, because Sin had always taken pride in cleaning and making things right again. Whatever mess he had in his house would always be returned to order. No, he wasn’t angry at them.

    It had come off that way though. He’d breathed a sigh and a frustrated sound as he’d left them to go and cook. His knife moving swifter than his mind kept him in focus. When Loki kept talking, Ixto stabbed the blade harshly into the cutting board, slicing the conversation short in a violent display.

   “Nevermind it,” he snapped, and then retreated toward the pantry. “Dinner will be ready in an hour, you’re both forgiven.” Though, contrary to his usual mood, he did not seem so forgiving right now, the knife splitting the wooden cutting board nearly in half from the force Ixto had applied to it, possibly in the most vicious display he’d given in 20 years.

The memories of hunting for Loki upon Midgard now all seemed a blur. The dreams of nightmares at this point in time. Yet, consciously aware that time’s passing gave way to the fading of memories, Thor continuously kept being reminded of what happened then and what is now. 

The people of Asgard went about their day, aware of what happened to Odin’s second son, but seemed less bothered by it than Thor. There was more to Loki’s story than uncontrollable power and an alien invasion. Yet, Thor could not bring himself to face his brother to ask for that information. 

So Thor sat at the steps of the Throne Room, cutting off another slice of a golden yellow apple, it’s crisp skin was the only thing to make a sound as Thor bit down into the cut piece. Perhaps Thor should pay his brother a visit. But he couldn’t face him, not yet. Instead, Thor donned on a loose cloak with a deep hood so as to keep his form and face hidden enough.
