A fancy town in the 1900's crumbled down, the citizens went undergroud in the mines, the dug around and found trains wit clothes and seeds so they decided to rebuild their society underground.
There's mysterious green jems that drve people crazy searching for them, some suspect that theyre cursed by the souls of the people that didn't make it.
200-ish years later this rumor continues and a guy named Gerald goes underground to find them, hoping that their magic could be used for good.
His companion Larry is an a tired man who recently got fired from his job at the news paper writing company. He finds Gerald out on the streets and after hearing his conspiracy theory he joins along in hopes to get his job back if this man can actually do something magical with these rocks.
Now they work at Gerald's weird basement where he has all his sciencey stuff and they mine+examine these jems while trying to live a healthy life.. they do no end up doing that last part lol
Garry/Gerald is short brunette and Lance/Larry is thin blondie (i'm not settled on their names yet)
