12. ideas of a perfect date

the perfect, top-tier date that only exists in my imagination: it is a july evening, 2019, in vienna, austria. i have just finished my last performance with my former orchestra in the vienna Konzerthaus. i am in a long red dress, and my violin is on my back. we run away, laughing, and board a tram all the way to the end of the line, where we disembark and eat together at a little restaurant on a hill overlooking the danube river.

a slightly more realistic idea: we have a picnic in a park and then go to a museum to spend the afternoon looking at the paintings.

17. a fact about my life

i learned how to speak english from my parents, who are not native english speakers, so i grew up with an substantially thick filipino accent. i also grew up copying the various idiosyncrasies of their speech, too, so i had a lot of fun confusing my teachers in the early years of my school career.

i still have vestiges of my accent today, lol
