Have fun at the Black Parade || Alessandro || Re: Akito
This was a lot. This choice should have been simple but it became so much more complicated. He did this for her, to save Amora, to be with her. He was willing to destroy everything around him for the sake of just one person. As he goes back and forth between rejecting the thought of Akito's survival with the cruelties and destructive ways of Hope's Peak Academy a single question kept popping into his mind.
'Would I have done the same?'
Would he have done this crazy scheme to save one person? ... Well yeah, if it actually meant he could have his brother back then he would throw anybody away, it wouldn't matter. But Alessandro wasn't on trial, it was Akito. He can't start sympathizing right now, he can't afford to start getting all sappy right now. What kind of my little pony moment was he having right now? This is getting ridiculous.
As Akito finished his defense and explanation the new options that flashed onto his screen filled him with dread. This isn't like the rest of the trials, they were forced to choose or else it was death for the rest of them. Just like the killers had to choose whether they were ready to commit such a horrendous sin for the chance of survival. But now, even knowing full well what he did and what he willingly took part of, the last five remaining students of this killing game could choose whether he lives or dies.
It shouldn't be this hard to choose.
Alessandro muttered a few curse words under his breath before looking up at Akito. The bags under his eyes seemed to have grown darker since his first days here but his glare still burned bright with a fiery determination to see this through to the end.
"You played with us. You played with our lives. Even if you say it was in order to get back at Hope's Peak and all the bullshit they put you guys through and possibly others. You didn't need to bring us into this. If you wanted to prove a point by causing a mass graveyard then you should have just used the lives of the staff at the academy. Put them through this game, have them make these horrible decisions, let them watch in fear as their numbers dwindled day by day. Don't you think that would have made a bigger impact on them?"
Although the volume in his voice rose Alessandro did his best to keep it from being mindless yelling. He was angry, that's nothing new, but he needed to let his choice be a rational one. He can't let his emotions take control right now.
"They have thousands of students and yet we have to be the ones to pick up the pieces of the your fucked up life? You're gonna make us play God and choose your fate? Our lives were on the line before but now there's nothing holding us back from letting you go."
He looked at the pedestals directly across from him and looked at Meifen and Cyprien for a moment before turning his head towards Alastair and then letting his gaze rest a moment on Alma. He was scared again, he has no clue what these people were going to choose, he's prayed that they'd listen to him for once and work to get the bad guy but it's never worked before so why would it now.
He takes a deep breath before looking back at Akito and Amora.
"I don't know if I'm making the right choice. I don't know if the others will choose the same as me. But I do know that I'm making the fair choice. What was done to you wasn't right, but it's not my problem. It's nobodies problem except your own. You did what you thought you had to do and now I'll do the same."
Alessandro pressed in his vote and just waited.
I've seen this story before || Alessandro || Trial 6.2 || Re: Cyprien || Attn: Akito
Alessandro did all he could to hold back his laughter. He wants an apology!? This fucker has to be crazy if he thinks he's gonna get anything like that. Seeing Cyprien actually do it and claim it was on behalf of everyone was just to much and he couldn't hold back his laugh anymore.
"Hahaha! You two are idiots, I can't take either of you seriously anymore. Mio Dio! Sei ridicolo! Haha." He held on to his stomach and tried to calm his laughing fit but it took him awhile.
He took a deep breath and settled into a slight chuckle, "Whew, it's been awhile since I laughed like that. Now that I'm kinda over that I'll continue with what Cyprien was getting at. We all know Akito was the prince. And I'll admit that I agree with the clown's train of thought based on something so ridiculous that I didn't want to even consider was valuable information at the time but after hearing all this info about Blanche's involvement it seems the idea wasn't as stupid as I initially thought."
He clears his throat and any remnants of joy he had dissipated, "To get to the secret passage way you have to remove a single movie from the bookshelf. That movie being Shrek the Third, a small detail at first sure. But do any of you recall who the big badies of this particular film are?"
Pause for dramatic effect.
"Well in case some of you are uncultured swines I'll educate you. The so called mastermind in this one is none other than dear Prince Charming. And who's the traitor who left her friends behind? Well, here's a hint. She's a blonde, long haired, backstabbing, bitch."
His anger had bubbled up from the thought of him ever mourning her. How he believed her till the very end. How stupid, how infuriating it was to be pulled around!
"I don't give a damn what Alistair has to say, if his conclusion was the same or if he was ready to go down another rabbit hole. I want to hear some sort of defense Akito, this may be some stupid theory but there's no way it's just a coincidence. The painting, the murals, the movie, even the roller-coaster that spelled out fucking OGRE! Or any other clue that's shrek affiliated in this mother fucking hotel!"
Short theory from a short boy || Alessandro || Trial 6.1
Alessandro listened intently, so it was Daichi who did all if this? Well when you think about the ridiculous set up and all the fantasy and movie references it seemed to fit. He seemed like the odd ball meme type.
"I can't say this with complete certainty but the idea that this was just some fucked up experiment isn't leaving my mind. Like you guys said, his parents were scientist not just any scientists though, they're neurological ones. They studied the functions of the brain and how it worked right? I've read about them a few times when looking for cures for my brother and it seemed plausible to me. But who's to say that Daichi didn't want to expand on their research? Getting a bunch of teens and putting them into a dire situation is some Lord of the Flies bullshit if you ask me, but it's a great social experiment."
Take what you can get || Alessandro || Trial 5.6 || Re: Cyprien, Meifen
Hearing that Alma dropped her crazy plan was a weight off his shoulders. He had one less thing to worry about.
When more information came to light he realized they're just back to square one. He should have guessed it was to good to be true.
"Listen Meifen, say what you want to say, I deserve it. But I'm not the one behind this. I jumped and clung to her words cause it made sense. This could have ended neatly without anyone acting self sacrificial. If it meant Alma was gonna make it out after this then so be it. But she's already said she doesn't intend on dying today. So I'll take back what I said about you."
He scoffs at Cyprien's little rant. He didn't realize that the circus freak actually new more than two languages. He was almost impressed.
"That's fine by me. If everyone else does the same thing and votes for themselves then I can already tell you who's gonna end up on the chopping block. But now that we know Ariadne is a lying bitch and we can't trust a single thing she says, my vote remains up in the air."

Red pill or Blue pill || Alessandro || 5.5 || Re: Ariadne || Attn: Everyone
Where to even start.
Alessandro was sidelined by the idea of Alma dying for the rest of them that he couldn't even react properly. He respects her choices but he's said it before and will say it again, Alma is a terrifying person. Always so self sacrificial to so many people. It's an awful thought he won't even humor any more.
He tried to catch up with what everyone else was saying and tuned in at the most crucial part. So they were right, Yoon killed themselves and orchestrated this awful mess. But something else came up, Meifen was going to kill Akito. Ariadne wouldn't lie about this, if she didn't want them to know then she wouldn't say it. That just leaves one question.
"Who are we going to pick? We know it was Yoon but we can't pick him unless we want this to be a game of Russian roulette. So here's what I'm suggesting.
We vote Meifen as the killer since if it wasn't for her planning to kill Akito then Yoon wouldn't have done this. Or, in my opinion the better choice, pick the person who has killed before." Alessandro looked over to Cyprien when he said those last few words.
"I already know where my votes headed, but those two choices are what's fair this time around. It's up to you guys not to screw it up."
What kind of field are we playing on || Alessandro || Trial 5.4 || Re: Cyprien || Attn: Ariadne
Cyprien's words caught him off guard, all his thoughts and theories of way Yoon or associate would create such a mess came to a quick halt. Was that it? Was someone trying to fight off Ariadne?
"But if someone was trying to fight back and fend her off then she would have won. I get that I'm not some body builder like Jinan but she was still able to throw me across a room and knock me out. She even grabbed my shoulder so hard once that it left a bruise for weeks. I just can't see any of us lasting in a fight with her for more than a few seconds. To cause a mess like the one in the lobby takes time or at least a lot of energy. And unless any of you have some secret super human strength then it doesn't seem possible."
He turns to look at Ariadne, "Which makes me wonder. I get that Amora isn't here but her bullshit favors aren't coming into play for this crime right? Those favors are for her to use only or is the main robot bitch herself able to use them as she pleases?"
"I just want to make sure that the possibility of foul play from you two is on the table or not."
Same method different body || Alessandro || Trial 5.3 || Re: Akito, Ariadne
As always he listens closely. To everyone's words and tried to formulate them into something worthwhile in his mind. But Akito's words click something in him.
So it doesn't matter if it was a murder huh?
He shifts his gaze to Ariadne and responded.
"I think he's suggesting that this wasn't a murder but possibly a suicide."
That had to be it right? It seemed pretty perfect to him.
"You've all said it. The cuts on their body, the state of the lobby, the blood trail that ends nowhere near where the body was found. Even the chair knocked over in their room seemed odd being the only thing disturbed.
We've played with the idea of suicide in the last case why would it be so farfetch'd now?"
Alessandro looked to the center of their circle, not really focusing on anything but trying to fit the pieces together.
"My question is why would Yoon do all of this. Why make it harder on us to figure out? Was this something they devised on their own or was someone helping out. Or maybe even messing with the scene."
