Well I just picked up these Awards! I had no idea (nor did she) that my big girl @ema.nathan got them during her senior year in Highschool during one of the worst years ever. We knew she got a lot of waterpolo awards but never saw these! It was during 2020 when COVID hit our poor kids & the entire world! It was a very hard year for these kids they missed everything prom & graduation! But Ema stayed positive and kept focused! Perfect proof what you put in you will get out! Dear friends and family Hope everyone is doing OK and staying safe during these trying times! Anything you can do to support my girl and this very important trip to Paris in a couple of weeks,(as she has been invited to try out for the French National Girl’s Waterpolo Team as a goalie), will be greatly appreciated! I am just so very proud of her. She focused, worked hard (even under these trying and difficult times during Covid), stayed on path, trained and played hard and as a result received nearly every sports award in her senior year at highschool and her first year of college at The University of The Pacific from 2020 to 2021. I just knew in my heart it was just a matter of time before the world was going to notice her! As I told her “Ema it’s all up to you and what you want out of your life just work hard because what you put in is what you will get out! You have it all there!” She listened! As her mom I want to take this opportunity to thank all her teachers, coaches, parents, team mates, schools, clubs, her families and friends that have always believed in her throughout her 19 years! All I know is having a strong emotional support system and people in your life that believe in you is key and so important for any kid to thrive in this world but especially for an elite athlete!
