Zoey had finally settled onto the couch in the common area of the Air dorms, watching television. She was watching some kind of trashy reality television show that made her giggle at the senseless fights that the ladies and guys often got into. She sat, eating popcorn, engrossed in the show that was playing out on her screen. It felt nice to sit in silence, watching tv. No one was roaming about, and her roommate wasn’t there to bug her either. She was grateful of that. She grabbed her bottle of water, taking a sip, chuckling as a shoe went flying and names were called. Recklessness, even in television form brought her joy. She felt like this would be the most chill time she’d had all weekend and it was long overdue.

Hour 5 - Suspicion

Zoey was sitting in the dining hall, having lunch. Her phone in hand scrolling through the latest social media posts from her cheer squad friends. She rolled her eyes as everything seemed just a little bit lame. On such occasion when she looked up, she happened to see Professor Ridley there. Her eyes lifted to his, and she began to wonder what this man was planning. She looked down at her food, making sure nothing was out of the ordinary, but she couldn’t shake the suspicion that he was up to something. “Stop following me,” she mouthed, figuring that he was trying to make her afraid, but she wasn’t. She gave a tight smile before getting back to her food, seemingly without a care.
