♘ - a memory of their sibling(s)
It was the first day of the rest of her life. At least, that’s how it seemed by how she talked about it in later life. That day she hadn’t thought it would be anything special. Just another day where she’d go a school where she knew nobody despite living there her entire life and spend it surrounded by strangers with familiar faces.
Her mood had been foul ever since he left and a part of her hated him for it, but most of her realized why he left. It created a storm inside the woman which was ironic later on considering that was his fathers specialty. At the time she mostly just wanted to be angry with him, but she couldn’t. Instead she was just confused and miserable and snappish.
This day wasn’t just another day though, and after going through most of her schoolday with the attitude of a hurricane she was sent him. ‘Suspended’ was the correct term, but hell if she cared. So long as she was home before her mother it wasn’t like anyone in her house would find out anyways.
Kicking a stone as she walked out it tumbled and harmlessly bounced against someone’s shoe, and she slowly dragged her gaze up from the ground to see the poor man who put himself in her path. “Ouch, you wound me.” A familiar voice stated and she froze, staring at the face of her sibling by blood and not circumstance. A sudden rush of joy and a stab of anger hit her all at once and while she threw herself into his arms she also pulled back and hit his arm a moment later. “You couldn’t write me a letter or something, you dick!?!”
