Elunite Ore

Believed to be blessed by the lunar goddess Elune, this precious metal is sought after by Kaldorei combatants for their custom weaponry. The rare metal commands respect within Kaldorei culture and smiths widely consider crafting with the material to be both an honor and a pleasure. When the ore is transported or mined, its protection is viewed as a personal duty to Elune and devout Kaldorei, such as Captain Elura, will fulfill that duty even beyond death. 

RP Ideas Kaldorei warriors and sentinels may commission crafters to forge custom weapons, or have ancient weapons melted and re-forged due to the metals rarity; smiths, from all races, might endeavor to master the technique for working with the rare ore; alternatively, an alchemist or chemist may attempt to produce an artificial substitute from the source material; a guild might uncover the strange ore and journey to discover its potential; Priestesses may use the metal or its dust in ceremonies, rituals, and/or healing concoctions; etc!
