#elsiefest 2019

Correct me if I'm wrong, but hasn't D stressed that Elsie is about Broadway performers stretching their wings, so to speak, and doing songs they like that aren't necessarily Broadway songs? I mean, obviously, I expect Broadway songs, but I was under the impression it was supposed to see these performers work their magic outside the genre as well. I've seen more than one person complaining about there not being enough Broadway tunes.
