WIP Anagram Game

Rules: Find a sentence from your WIP that starts with each letter in your given word.
My word is TRAIN. Your word, should you choose to participate is "SLATE"
These are all taken from a couple paragraphs near the beginning of Ch 3 of the forever project:
T - To me, the fire burned uninterrupted.
R- The roaring of a massive fireplace was so loud in my head I barely heard myself shout for my parents' help no sentence thus far written in the forever project actually starts with R
A- As [my wings] moved, I noticed a bright yellow light.
I- In the time it had taken me to cross only a few steps into the yard, the heat I had felt had increased dramatically, and was beginning to hurt
N- No one I loved was in immediate danger.
