I’m just gonna call all of this a birthday present.

Can we all just agree that March 2015 was not what we were expecting for the 1D fandom. 

I've been rebloging lots of things about the elounor break-up, but I just want to clarify something just in case: I'm not happy that Elounor fans are sad. In fact, it's understandable. I'm happy that BOTH Louis and Eleanor are out of what was, in my opinion, a bearding contract that made them both unhappy. Now, I'm not an expert on anything 1D-related. I don't make analysis or masterposts or have interesting opinions. But if you're an Elounor shipper and you have questions, or want to talk about anything, I can probably recommend a few blogs that are better than me. You're welcome here.

I’ve been in this fandom since december 2012. I’ve seen Harry and Louis get shoved deeper into the closet, I’ve seen all the pr stunts, and the beginning of Big Gay War. Ever since, there’s always been this concept that “one day, elounor will break-up”. Or “one day, they’re gonna come out”. But it was always “one day”. Two years ago, one day was “maybe when 1D is over” or “maybe when their contract with Modest is over”. These past few months, one day kept getting closer and closer. Yesterday, one of the big “one days” happened. And even if we saw it coming a little bit, I still couldn’t believe it was ACTUALLY HAPPENING. That thing that we had been wishing and speculating about and imagining was real. I’m just left amazed, awed, surprised, without words.
