25th of Bellus

We begin in Storm's Heart. Guard patrols have increased. The city was once populated with vampires, but now only a few remain.

Dothrar the dragon has posted a notice asking for strong adventurers to climb the top of the Glacial Peak. As far as the realm is aware, it's a feat that hasn't been done in quite some time.

Would be takers are to meet at the archive. In order of appearance: Lunara→Fulmen→Darcy→Bellamy

Bellamy doesn't hide that he's a dhampir and Lunara is highly suspicious. (player notes: Lunara keeps track of the lunar cycle due to her lycanthropy while Bellamy needs to drink blood every 4 days)

Hulk of a dude shows up—the dragon himself— and explains that he needs the heart of a storm giant delivered to the top of the Glacial Peak. He would do it himself, but he has a city to run.

Dangers include but are not limited to: Thin air, extreme cold, monsters, elementals, and shadows.

If we deliver the heart and share our journey to and back from the mountain we will be rewarded with 2,000 gold per person and an artifact.

Before we leave, he gifts each person 200 gold for supplies.

Estimated travel time: 9 days on foot from Seran Vas to the mountain, and a week (8 days) to climb the mountain. Party is to meet back at 10 AM to be teleported to Seran Vas.

After some shopping Lunara collects everyone for a bit of group bonding.

Just to make sure no one lies, Darcy casts Zone of Truth. Lunara shows her werewolf form and warns the party what she's capable of.

Only Fulmen passes the save so we're not quite sure if he's telling the truth, but for most part he seems honest?

After a night of rest, we meet back to be teleported to Seran Vas. Immediately the group heads to a special shop to rent Necklaces of Adaption.

On the trip there, we learn that city is built into the natural landscape and is mostly connected by bridges. We also learn that the nation's mail headquarters is here.

Necklaces of Adaption are on loan for 100 gold for 3 weeks and an additional 10 gold for any day after.

Should we find any necklaces during our climb, we can return them for 20 gold per necklace.

The party heads to the Empty Nest to rent rooms, and Darcy takes a look at the notice board. One request asks for help building a barn, and another concerns mother looking for her son. 200 gold reward to find him or at least discover what happened to him.

Darcy heads out to answer the notices while the rest of the party relaxes and prepares for the journey.

After helping with the shed, Darcy sees the mother, Angela, who asked for help finding her son. Her son is 3 years old and failed his coming of age ceremony. Looks like a peacock.
