Keith vs. Lance - Well, we know they’d each claim they’d won, no matter what really happens. I suppose it depends on how the fight is structured. If they’re using their usual bayard weapons, then Lance is at a disadvantage in melee range and Keith is at a disadvantage outside of it. 

I think that each of them will try to move to their own version of “high ground” (literal, in Lance’s case), and each of them will know how the other will react to it. So long as no one distracts Lance, it might actually be a tie, just because they actually are pretty good at fighting together (against enemies, not just fighting one another), so they’re gonna know each other’s preferred moves.

If, say, Allura walks in, or Hunk does a particularly distracting cheer for his best buddy, then Keith.

Pidge vs. Hunk - First they try to do a nerd trivia contest and Hunk wins. Then they do a hacking contest and Pidge wins. SO IT ALL COMES DOWN TO THE COMBAT.... which will go to Pidge pretty damn easily, for much the same reason Klaizap gives Keith so much trouble: Pidge is small, light, and hard to hit. Hunk’s role in combat is basically to plant himself and BE A GUN TURRET. He (and his bayard weapon) are heavy and stable enough that Pidge can’t really drag him off his feet, but she can zap him. 

Coran vs. Squirrel - Both have fluffy orange-y red ...hair/fur (tail for the squirrel, mustache for Coran). Both can chitter annoyingly well. Coran’s got dem guns, but the squirrel just throws a nut at his head and Coran gets so upset he starts chasing the squirrel around. After some classic cartoon hijinks, Coran concedes defeat, but the squirrel is a gracious winner.

Who said “I love you” first: John!! i like to imagine they were just out and about, not doing anything special, and it just kind of…. came out. like he stated it as though it was a fact, and it wasn’t gonna change anytime soon, you know??

Who would have the other’s picture as their phone background: PIGMENT. she seems like the type who isn’t one to let you know she cares, but it isn’t hard to see that she does. a lot. 

Who leaves notes written in fog on the bathroom mirror: Pigment. they’re drawings, not notes, mostly hearts and smiley faces. occasionally stick-figures of her and John. he very much appreciates them.  

Who buys the other cheesy gifts: John. he is the KING of cheesy gifts. most of the time, he gets a “what am i supposed to do with this?” response from Pigment, but she’s kept every single one, so he just keeps on getting them.

Who initiated the first kiss: Pigment actually! i expect it was kind of hard as she has no lips (which just comes with being a Grey, i suppose). i have this very specific idea maybe she just saw a billboard or something of people kissing and asked John something along the lines of “wtf are they doing” and he explained it’s one way people in love can express how they feel and she just kind of like. let that sink in for a few minutes and was like “oh”.   

Who kisses the other awake in the morning: John. he knows Pigment really likes it when he kisses her (not that she’d say anything) so that’s always how he tries to start her day. 

Who starts tickle fights: Pigment. she’s a tickle fiend and John is WEAK 

Who asks who if they can join the other in the shower: Pigment lmfao

Who surprises the other in the middle of the day at work with lunch: John totally would. he’s probably not an amaaazing cook tbh but he tries his best and always tries to bring her favorite food. it also helps she only needs to ‘eat’ every so often because Grey. (◡‿◡✿)

Who was nervous and shy on the first date: they both were lmfao. John probably talked first, even though he was kind of a stammering mess

Who kills/takes out the spiders: they switch off. spiders are nothing compared to the other shit they’ve probably seen hmfkdjs
