The month of December is approaching extremely quickly, and will be arriving in less than two days in the small town of Ellingham! And as it is my favourite month of the winter, I thought that it would be nice to start said month off with a bang! Iām not going to set an event at the beginning of the month, as weāll have a bigger one closer to the āofficialā holiday celebrations of Ellingham, but! I thought itād be fun to do a little partnering up mini-event to begin the month! The last one I tried to make pretty much failed, and so this time around, I tried to make the little form you had to fill a bit more thorough! It still shouldnāt take you too long, but itās going to make things a bit easier for me to organize things in a much better manner. As always, this partnering up mini-event is completely optional, and to participate, all you have to do is fill out the lil form right here before December 1st, 2019 @ 00:01 EST! Okay, so! Due to a lot of people seeming interested in a pairing up thingy, Iāve decided to do just that! This will basically be a mini-event within the current event/timestamp (spoiler: itāll take place the day after the town meeting/party), and will encourage some characters to interact with other characters they might not have interacted with otherwise! For your character to be paired up for the mini-event, please like this post and Iāll DM you a teensy tiny lil form to fill out so that your character(s) can be entered in the lil random generator Iāll use to form the pairs!
This is our first mini event within a bigger event! The goal of these mini events is basically to make our characters interact with characters we may not have, usually! This time around, the mini-event within the current event is taking place in between November 16th at 08:00 and November 17th at 08:00, aka the day after the Winter Bash and the big Town Meeting! Under the cut, youāll find the pairings that have been determined by a random organizer website! Of course, those threads can happen any time within ou real, real life, time, but within the roleplay, thatās when those threads would take place!I tried to include all the characters that were asked for, but if you canāt find your chara in there, either because you changed your mind or just arrived, please DM the main and Iāll find a solution! I tried to include everyone who liked the post/filled the form out, but if I included your character by mistake, or accidentally included your character, let me know and Iāll fix it asap!
If youāre too shy to message the person who plays the character your own characterās been paired up with, let me know and Iāll arrange something between you two!
If the other roleplayer goes inactive before you can start your thread, please message the main and Iāll pair you up with another character! This also goes for people who couldnāt enter their character into the lil pairing up event in time!
Basically, communication with the main is key if somethingās not working for you!

Alright, so! Slight change in rules when it comes to characters and how many you can have: you can still start off with five characters (as it wouldnāt be fair for me to change that), but to get more characters, youād have to have an intro posted on all your current characters, as well as at least four new interaction posts up on all your current characters (starters would count as interactions, though please donāt post four closed and/or open starters and be done with it, because I would notice)!Ā
So, letās say you have five characters, and have all your intros posted, as well as at least four interaction posts up, you can apply for a sixth character. However, to apply for a seventh character, youād have to have your intro posted on your sixth character, as well as four interaction posts up for them of course, but alsoĀ four new interaction posts on your other characters that werenāt already posted when you applied for your fifth!
Also, the limitās been upped to ten, though of course, Iāll be just as strict when it comes to being active on allĀ your characters, and some of your characters might get re-opened if youāre not active enough with them! Hope that makes sense!Ā

@ EllinghamHQās members: Someone mentioned to me that theyād liked an event or something similar to that where people are paired up for some reason, to make characters interact with a variety of characters, and I was wondering whether youād all be interested in something like that? Itād be optional, of course, but if you wanted, for the next event, or mini-event within an event, there could be likeĀ āpairsā that have to interact together? I might make a poll for it eventually, but Iād love to get your initial reactions to the idea, first!
Hereās a couple of new lil rules concerning ask memes!
Tag them all withĀ āellingham:memesā, so that they can be blacklisted by those who donāt wish to see them on their dash!
Donāt reblog them more than once. By that, I mean that if you have more than one character account, you canāt reblog the sameĀ ask meme on all your character acounts. Instead, either link your other accounts at the bottom of the ask meme, or mention your other character accounts in the tags.
If you reblog an ask meme, try to return the favour and send ask memes to everyone who has also reblogged it, even if you need to do it on anon and leave it vague because it doesnāt work for your characters.
Try not to reblog more than one (1) ask meme per character account per day.
I just checked the poll results regarding when we should open for interactions tonight, and since a majority of you voted for 7PM EST, thatās officially when weāll open for interactions tonight, November 12th!
