ELLIE MY BABY

For anyone who missed it in the latest chapter, Taka had a stuffed elephant in his closet covered in dust. This is Taka’s childhood toy, Ellie (he’s very uncreative with names).

He’s had her since he was very small, and when they inevitably had to move after his grandfather’s scandal, she was the only toy who came with him.

Taka is extremely attached to her, as everyone is to their childhood teddy, but he feels that because he’s an adult now, holding onto a stuffed toy is childish and takes up unnecessary space. He thinks he should throw her out, but he can’t bring himself to. So as a compromise, he keeps her hidden in the closet. He likes to think she’s comfortable in there.
