Help me pick makeup look and jewellery for my graduation!
Got gold on the left and silver on the right.
Things to note: it's in winter so cooler looks (ie. Silver, grey, white) are appropriate. Silver bags in the store are nicer looking and cheaper. Gold is more in tune w my skin tone, but the bags are ugly and more expensive.

It was more expensive than my original dress. I was stuck between 2 dresses. The first was more in line w my original version of satin and elegant, but I had to wear shapewear and would need the hem and the bra cowl folds tailored.
I found a wild card dress that has a red-blue duochrome sparkly fabric w a lace up back, that fits perfectly and I don't have to wear shapewear underneath. Even though it was more expensive, would still require tailoring, and didn't fit my initial vision, I found that I felt happier and excited in it.
I was SOOOO lucky w calling a tailor that can alter my hem and give a leg slit, with a quick turn around (5 days) at no extra fee, and took me in even though they were closed except for appointments on Mondays.
I have to get a new bag bc the one I bought can't even fit my phone and I need it to fit that and more. So I'm still emergency graduation panic buying, but having my dress sorted out is SOOOOO relieving.
Idk what to do w this dress. I can't return it bc it's custom. The waist can't be taken in. All I can do for tailoring is get the skirt taken in a bit to make that mermaid tail flare out a bit more.
I'm just super upset bc mermaid silhouette is meant to accentuate curves and instead it's flattened all of mine and I even have shapewear on in the pics. It's also very constricting especially in my stomach and I have to hike the skirt to sit down.
I really don't want to buy a new dress bc trying to find one that's off shoulder, my size, this colour, affordable, and can be delivered (and tailored if needed) in time is really hard w less than 2 weeks to the event now. So basically my only other choice is to go shopping in person and hope I find one that fits all my needs.
Do I actually look good and I'm being unrealistic in my head bc I'm fat, or should I go look for a new dress?

Today was my last day as a Beauty Therapist diploma student.
Too tired to write more, but I'm so proud of completing my dual diploma course. Still have more studying, resume writing, and job interviews at the school in 2 weeks so I'm not completely done w the school yet.
Got back from a weekend trip in Melbourne two days ago, w my partner, his sister, and dad. It was so good and we got to explore parts I haven't been to before. Loved it!
Also yesterday I saw my mum in person for the first time in years (since the homeless incident). Just glad that I felt okay and it didn't stir up any traumatic feelings. Didn't plan to meet her but I'm glad it went well.
Day 1
Our plane had our women's AFL team onboard and my partner was freaking out a little. Very cute.
Didn't do too much the first day. Went shopping bc his lil sis forgot to pack swimmers for the sauna, spa, and pool at the hotel. Went out for lunch and had sweet and sour chicken w kimchi. Then went back to the hotel for sauna, spa, and pool.
For dinner we went to a burger place and I got a nice burger w horseradish and pickles. Different but I really liked it! I also got this coconut cloud drink (just coconut water w a whipped cream thing w blue spirulina to make it blue).
I wanted to go to a Filipino ice cream place for dessert, but by the time we got there it closed (missed it by 10 mins TTATT). It worked out though bc there was an AMAZING gelato place close by. The flavours and gelato were so authentic, and the scoops were HUGE! I know I haven't tried the Filo ice cream place yet, but I think the gelato place was better. Still wanna try the Filo ice cream place though. Maybe next time.
Day 2
Action packed day! We didn't really have an itinerary planned but my partner's lil sis found some good stuff we could do. We could've gone to the women's AFL game but I'm glad we didn't, and explored more instead.
Went to a Vietnamese cafe. I just got spring rolls, while my partner and his sis got a rose tinted, lychee coffee, w a salted whipped cream on top w rose petal pieces. SUPER GOOD! Defs wanna go back there.
Went to a Sunday market by the river. Not many stalls but it was okay. There was a candle stall that had a candle of cute kittens stacked on each other, so we bought that. You can see them in the photo in the middle left.
Got more food (wonton and fishball noodle soup), and live music. The musician was playing an instrument from West Africa and it sounded like a harp which surprised me.
Went to a scrap metal art gallery, which had a cool light installation rooms and mirror maze, haunted house (which I led saying "I don't like this" the whole time), VR gaming room, and 4D rollercoaster cinema (we had a dinosaur movie where they tried to eat and attack us as we're on a roller coaster course). There were so many scrap metal and tyres sculptures! Lots of interactive sculptures too. Defs the highlight of the trip.
Went to the Sky Tower where the elevator was so fast, we reached the 88th floor in less than 40 seconds. Lots of binoculars showing off important landmarks and buildings.
Went back to the Sunday market place for food. I wasn't hungry so I just wandered around the shopping center while the others were waiting for Greek food. I found a mini art gallery that had a lot of Indian art, mostly around Buddha in sandstone and crystal sculptures. The art gallery lady gave me a nice black tea w spices before I had to leave.
Went back to the hotel and did some more spa, sauna, and pool. Did some Asian snack shopping to prep for the plane ride home. Had a late dinner at another Korean place, which was empty when we got there but the bibimbap was good!
Day 3 (Monday, the last day)
My partner had to go to work so I spent the rest of the day w his dad and sister. We went shopping, since I was thinking of doing it the day before and seemed conflicted about whether or not to buy clothes (my luggage was already overweight, and I'm broke). Got some sports clothes, a cute singlet, travel manicure set, and press-on nails.
After shopping I got okonomiyaki (which was so thick and didn't taste good. Had to throw it out), spring rolls, and two sushi rolls for breakfast and for the plane.
I bought a manicure set w nail scissors and had to put it in my luggage and check it in. Luckily checked luggage was included on my ticket so I didn't get a fee.
