Betsy couldnât help but laugh at his observation. Combing back the long strands of her hair with one hand, she relaxed back into her own seat and placed down the smart phone on her lap. âHave faith, dear Ice Man,â she drawled with a smirk. âPerhaps the mansion is in shambles, though I am willing to double that youâre wrong,â she giggled. âOtherwise, if I am wrong, Iâll proudly pay youâŠunless youâre willing to up the stakes?â she trailed off, coyly smiling as she crossed her arms over her chest.
Bobby had kept an ear on their conversation while finding the atmosphere outside his window passively interesting, examining the clouds that were cut by the jet wing as they flew past.
