FINALLY!🐘❤️ Last night after midnight, I finished the first draft of art pieces for THE MIGHTY PAW, a story told to me by the great Blackie the Cat years ago. I promised I would illustrate his TRUE story and have it published as a book. It’s been an uphill struggle for me, and I finally completed over 50 paintings on paper. This is a creative breakthrough since I’ve been painting these for over 5 years! I’d give myself deadlines but never met them. He knocked them down by the bedside table for over a decade. Blackie then confided in me that knocking these Elifants was not a game but a ritual to remember his family’s emotional story between the Black Cats and the Red Elifants.
