happy valentine’s day to @eliamgroot!!

     she has no sense of time nor personal space as she picklocks his apartment door. there is no slack to be cut at seven am for the young female, many would question why a twenty three year old was alive at this hour. once the door is open, wynter makes sure to close it quietly ( after all his neighbors are still asleep ) as she makes her way into the apartment. pivoting, there is a deep inhale before ( as loud as she can ) his name comes up through a sing song voice. 

                        ❝ rise and shine, eli ! ‘m raiding your fridge and if y’don’t got anything good, ‘m comin’ t’drag y’ass out of bed ! ❞

              she’s CASUALLY humming ‘you are my sunshine’ to herself, it’s one of the only things she distinctly   r e m e m b e r s   riley teaching her before his disappearance. it keeps her happy; it helps keep the stress making her GO under. crystal hues rise & she offers a  s o f t  smile to the other before lips break to speak.

     “  –––– you’re really asking me? ”

         it’s not that there isn’t warmth in her eyes as she looks over         to him. after all, it was her offhand comment that started all         of this. who knew that suggesting a man buy a goldfish          could be the cause of an existential meltdown. at least that’s         how it came across to the brunette. she was a warm heart,         a heart of gold really, but there were times when she just         had no idea how to PEOPLE. it made her say things she          didn’t always mean; it made her feel BAD.

                    without question, eli had become someone VERY important to luke. whilst they had been through a patch where they didn’t speak, didn’t look at one another-- it had been resolved. they had come together, and whilst he wasn’t exactly sure about their relationship any more, one thing he was sure about? sleeping next to him, sleeping WITH him, made luke feel like nothing he had felt before. so, reaching out to touch the other’s fingers, he moved to pull the other down into the warmth of the sheets embrace.
