Elfshadow re-read
To my surprise, Danilo is much, much less of a useless idiot than I remembered from some 18 years ago, when I read this book for the first time. It was a nice revelation to have, though meeting Dandelion/Jaskier since, and him setting the standard for the useless fucking idiot of a bard character might have something to do with it. And I just love Blackstaff, he’s my comfort grumpy dad mage.
