Do elves grow bald as they get older or does their hair just turn white/silver?
I’m sorry if this took a bit.
Elves do not grow bald. Their hair thins and turns white and some wrinkles appear but this is only true for a venerable age. And I do mean venerable (I’d approximate this to +550-700).
In the second edition, elves were expected to hear the call to Arvanaith and travel there (the hidden elven homeland, speculated to be a pocket piece of Arvandor on the Plane of Olympus, that none have ever been able to reach without dying) when they felt of age, but after that, there was not much said about what happened to truly old elves, so they were never explicitly observed.
Nothing much is mentioned in the following editions (although if anyone knows something, please add on).
