This all happened when Mike and El was “in love”.. (Mike’s words)

Do you guys remember the first season when El ran away bc Mike was mad at her for not finding Will alive? And she asked if she was a monster?

Do you remember second season when El ran away with Eight to find herself and the truth about her mom? But then she noticed that her friends needed her so she went to help them…

Do you remember in season three when Max told El “There’s more to life than just stupid boys” and “not hopper, not Mike, YOU” and “You make your own rules”?

And in season three El suffered so much to help her friends but she lost her powers..

Still in S3 she said “I love you too” and her boyfriend didn’t say not even a word to her..

In season four after Raink-O-Mania scene El and Mike had an argument bc Mike never says “I love you” and he can’t even write it.. And then she says “you don’t love me anymore?” and “you think I’m a monster too”.. She said “too” bc everyone was scared of her after what she did to Angela..

I mean even after everything she's been through and faced for her friends, she still doesn't feel "normal" but a monster that doesn't belong. And she feels that Mike doesn’t love bc she’s powerless..

And then she was taken for Dr. Brenner and there she found out the truth about what happened and everything in the past when she sent 001 to the upside down…

After all this she finally noticed that the monster was always Dr. Brenner and not her. She got her powers back and went to help her friends again…

You see? This has never been about Mike it was always about herself, she’s with Mike since S1 and doesn’t feel loved by him in s4 and she had to ask Mike if he loves her bc he is her boyfriend, it’s funny that people say he can’t say it bc he’s emotionally blocked but why she doesn’t feel it?

I mean, love is not about just saying but feeling too and she doesn’t feel loved by Mike bc she “hates” herself and the fact that she doesn’t love herself make it all clear…

In Mike’s monologue he said he loved her but she knows he was lying because right after he says “I love you for who you are” he says “you’re superhero”..

And Will? He deserves someone who loves him the same way? Alright..

Remember the first season when Will was taken to the upside down? He was ALONE and didn’t have anyone with him…

Do you remember in S2 when Will said that he was a freak for Jonathan? Still in S2 he was possessed by mindflayer and who was the only friend was there? Mike..

Do you guys remember in S3 how much he wanted to have his friends back and play D&D? But when he was there playing with Mike and Lucas he just noticed that his friends were worried about their girlfriends..

And then him and Mike had an argument and Mike said things to Will that him feel “stupid”, so he ran to castle Byers and destroyed everything bc of MIKE.. (bc of the argument he just had with Mike)

Will was sad bc his best friend spent the whole time with El and not him.. (Will and El feels like monsters for being both different from others, but El feels this way even dating Mike and Will feels this way without Mike)

In season four El said to MIKE that she’s a monster and doesn’t belong!

In the van scene Will said he feels like a mistake for being different but Mike make him feels like he’s not a mistake at all..

I mean guys… El doesn’t need Mike and Will needs..

El said Mike think she’s a monster and Will said Mike make him feels like he’s not a mistake at all??

El needs to love HERSELF and not hear “I love you” from Mike…

Will needs to be loved by Mike and Mike needs to be needed by Will…

And you guys remember when El was saving Max with her memories??

Almost all Max said to El in El’s memories was that she didn't need anyone to be herself and also said "there's more to life than stupid boys" and “you make your own rules”

And you know that they had way more moments together.. Why these memories?

El could’ve remember like when she made the girl's milkshake at the mall explode or even when they were taking photos together or when El is laughing with Max.. Idk why they only used that memories…
