For wonderful Chelsea who wanted something from that scene in the trailer.

They are idiotic, these mortals, and oh so foolish. To believe that a god can be kept in a place of their design is all the evidence he needs to make this conclusion; not that he had not already known this to be true. He let himself be caught, let himself be lead into the depths of this building, quiet except for the small tick of his mouth that no one noticed.

If they think him to be the villain, then who he is to disappoint them. And he so hates to disappoint his brother. Dear brother, not brother, never brother, always brother.

But oh they will pay for this indignity, this arrogance to think themselves better than him. It will be him that shows them their place. On their knees, prostrated in front of feet, bowing before him as he takes their oaths of subservience. Those who refuse will be dealt with.

It is nothing to release his magic. He simply lets it build inside him, till his skin is taut with the suggestion of the power, and releases it. The building shakes, the floor groans, the walls shudder, and the metal around him collapses into twisted ruins of nothing that resembles the cage they once were meant to be. An alarms sounds as he calls his staff to him, summoning the golden curved rod from where it had been separated away.

Loki straightens, raises his head to stare as the agents enter the smoking room. They walk slowly towards him; that much they have learned at least. He smiles. He will rip them apart, leave their blood and entrails as a parting message for the others. Let his dear brother think him the same then.

"U STUPID GIRL" he yelled. he gripped his shaft grinding his teeth together as the circle had for so many years ground down upon him and as the aching force of justice ground  down on him now. "I HATE VEGETABLES WHY ARE YOU GARDENING AT A TIME LIKE THIS"

"NOT EVERYTHING IS ABOUT YOU ANDY" she yelled back but the tears that welled up in her eyes like an overflowing well belied her lie

"WHAT DO YOU MEAN" he asked back suddenly touched and shocked by the realization that she too was a human suffering under the force of oppression by the belief that she needed garden vegetables to be beautiful

she pressed a hand against her mouth biting down on her knuckles until she realized that she was gardening and her knuckles were covered in fertilizer and cat poop

"IT'S NOT JUST GOING TO BE THE TWO OF US ANYMORE, ANDY," she whispered past the taste of ammonia and broccoli. "WE'RE ADDING A NEW MEMBER TO THE FAMILY."

he felt his breath taken away like the breath of hope for the tranquil. "what - what do you mean, felicistasia?"

I’m just going to point this out because it’s personally bothering. The girl didn’t use the word bitch. Or at least not in the post I saw.

there are two barriers to me having fenris feelings:

i literally cannot stop choking on my own ugly laughter at the moment he says, "it is a plague, burned into my flesh and my soul"

even though i totally get where he's coming from with his hatred of mages, i have major, major mage/chantry/circle feelings and part of me is horrified that he actually doesn't care about institutional torture, rape, lobotomizing, murder, and physical and psychological abuse. like, afaik he doesn't even express interest in viewing that as a downside or an unfortunate effect of the necessity of the circle. THAT IS FUCKING WEIRD AND UPSETTING.
