I made this painting for an art show at Planet Rooth Gallery in San Diego, California back in 2005 with my husband @toddlawsonart It sold opening night, it was made into a very small limited edition prints that sold out a few months later and then was published in a few magazines and newspapers front covers. This painting was my bread and butter for a chunk of a year. I have the original drawing drawn on illustration board (except her head is out of frame) and have kept the original transfer paper in the studio. #tbt to 10 years ago. Thank you @sundiegoswede for the great friendship and grateful for having us Canadians exhibit in your gallery all those years ago!
