it helps if you’re not a comic book puritan and if you’re able to ignore Whedon’s “feminism” (spoiler alert that ain’t feminism)

It’s more action based than the first Avengers, but it also provides room for more backstory for the characters (Black Widow for instance). Tbh there’s more destruction than anything else.
