If you think you can love a species and be for its objectification and destruction, you are wrong. I do have every right to tell you that you are being contradictory, not only in your statements but in your actions to both preserve and support the hunting of said species. Wolves deserve better than pricks who support wolf-hunters. North American wolf-hunters are less than shit. And yes, I'm talking to you, elegantwolves. Just wanted to make sure folks around here knew what kinda double-talk you're into. All the money in the world given to study a species won't make up for the fact that you killed it, moron.

Unfollowing

I just unfollowed the blog, elegantwolves, after they reposted a picture of a taxidermy wolf head. I had only recently started following the blog after a suggestion from following other wolf-based blogs. What I hadn't realized until today is that elegantwolves not only posts about but supports the hunting of wolves and sees taxidermy as a beautiful art form. While holding the position that the elegantwolves blog exists because of a love for wolves, it promotes the same false ideas about wolf behavior and wolf hunting which led to several species near-extinction only a short while ago. Considering Idaho and many other North American areas continue to put forward and pass legislation which unjustly terrorizes the wolf, such blogging behavior is not only self-contradictory but irresponsible as members of an intricate ecosystem.

So fuck you elegantwolves. Unfollowed.

#natural selection is my catch-all tag for anything content sensitive on my blog (hunting photos, skulls, taxidermy, pelts, etc.). I chose that tag because death is a natural process, and hunting is as natural to humans as it is to wolves. Hope that clears up any confusion c:!
