SANDBLASTING "TWENTY 1.0 - 2.0" ( Limited BOX 3 Cds - Download ) Luca Torasso celebrates 20 years of SANdBLASTING project activity (1996 – 2016) with the new release “Twenty”, a collection of 24 tracks up to now published only on limited box editions (and some no more available), compilations (Elektroanschlag, Schlagstrom, ZZZprod, …) and the first two albums “I AM I” and “ScassatoLive”. Each single track has been rearranged and some parts, where needed, played and recorded using new sounds with different frequencies and waveforms. In “Twenty” SANdBLASTING’s old audio productions take on new life by highlighting the compositional ideas and sound layers created by Luca Torasso through the use of new pre- and post- production techniques not available at the time when the tracks were composed. All the pre-production steps of each single track were personally performed by Luca Torasso while the final mastering has been carried out by Eric van wonterghem at the Prodam Berlin studio ( www.prodam-berlin.com ). 20 years not only of audio productions (including exclusive remixes for Bahntier, Cervello Elettronico, Daniele Brusaschetto, Hanin Elias, Manufactura, No More, Xotox …) but also live performances on international festival and club ( Antagony, Elektroanschlag, MS Stubnitz, Schlagstrom, Slimeligth, …). “Twenty” will be available in two versions: 20 tracks by digital download and limited box to only N. 30 copies with 4 bonus tracks: 2 unreleased remixes by Infernalnoise and Monoanime and 2 contest never published before ( Juno Reactor and Astrix ). The concept of the album is to analyze fear in all it’s psychological forms and manifestations. It’s an unstoppable voyage into a downward spiral of anguish with no chance of escape, made up of countless audio frequencies and finely honed layers of noise, distortion and acute feedback supported by extreme tribal technoid rhythms… all classic components of SANdBLASTING’s unique style and well known to the initiated… and all pushed to the very extreme. In this new work nothing was left to chance. It represents three years of intense studio work spent researching and creating unique sounds from the various modular analog synths in the SANdBLASTING collection.
