don't pay attention to them. ( maglor -> finarfin )
"I am trying not to." But it had become increasingly difficult ever since the (at first) peaceful picnic was being accomodated by loud arguing between Artanis, ΓrissΓ«, TurcafinwΓ« and AmbarΓ‘to. ArafinwΓ« had not been paying enough attention to know what they fought about, but the two princesses had banded together while each prince fought for himself. Then Ambarussa had joined in, rushing to their brother's rescue.
The family rarely came together on such a big scale, which was a shame. That the family also barely got along was an even bigger shame. Artanis arguing with her brother was normal, but it was unfortunate that one of his nephews had been dragged into this. Feanaro perceived slights at him wherever he went, be they imaginative or real, and any treatment of his children, that he perceived as unfair, would only become another point of contention. Sadly Artanis cared very little for her uncle's disposition and never minced her words with her cousins.
ArafinwΓ« eventually just sighed, lifted his golden hair over his shoulder and laid back on the soft blanket they had spread in the grass, to gaze up into the blue sky. At least the lazily moving white clouds were peaceful and relaxed. The sun shone onto his bare chest and he soaked up the warmth like a cat.
