This was meant to be a sketch but it got a little out of hand... I may come back and tweak it, but I also like it as is!
This is Dandy, my Ektus Rattlehand in an upcoming Wildsea campaign! They're accompanied by their spiny feline companion, Lion, whose design I based on hens and chicks succulents. Dandy themself is mostly prickly pear-inspired, but with cheerful yellow blooms like, you guessed it, a dandelion.
When Dandy isn't repairing or upgrading their ship, they spend their time researching the ancient vehicles known as "locomotives". One day, they hope to restore one and take their pals for a ride! They've carved themself a smiling face to help them gain more friends, which can be difficult when you're a 6-foot tall ambulatory cactus covered in long needles. Poor Dandy just wants to hug their shipmates, you know? 🥹
