46. internal bleeding
eijiro wasnāt one to hide injuries, heās seen others do it and he knows that it always ends up making things worse. the thing is, he hadnāt thought that he was hurt. a cannonball quirk had seemed a little like overkill, but if any of the 1A students were equipped to handle it, it was him. he can stop bullets, break steel blades, and take a 10 story dive without a scratch, a cannonball to the stomach wasnāt going to stop him. and it hadnāt, he had jumped right back up, dodged another two cannonballs shot his way and punched the guy hard enough to throw him off his feet. it was a success all around as far as eijiro was concerned.Ā
the soreness that heād felt for the rest of the day wasnāt unheard of either, especially after a direct his like that. his quirk itself often left him with painfully sore muscles if heād had it on for extended periods of time, but it would go away before too long. a bit of dizziness had acted up once or twice, but heād honestly figured that heād gotten up too quick or just needed a snack. he had even still come to get ready for the training session that he had promised bakugou earlier that week. it wasnāt until a particularly harsh dizzy spell had him staggering to stand back against the wall of the changing room that he and bakugou had just walked out of, that he realized something was really wrong. the pain in his stomach seemed more localized now too.Ā
ābakugou.. i donāt... i feel..ā as his vision steadied up again he looked to the blonde, only to see bakugou looking in horror at his bare torso instead. he frowned momentarily in confusion before looking down at himself to follow his friendās gaze and... oh, that didnāt look good. if it werenāt for the slow but steady spread of it, eijiro would assume that the dark discoloration on his stomach is a bruise, not that that would make much more sense to him than the fact that he was apparently bleeding internally. but as he whipped his gaze back up to bakugou, the dizziness threatened to overtake him as the pain that had been aching in his stomach all day pitched infinitely sharper, and he was in his friendās arms before he realized he was even falling. but bakugou always had been impressively quick. he barely had time to slur out a quickĀ Ā ā thanks kat..Ā ā before everything went black around him and he went limp in bakugouās arms.
