Chargers 13 Bills 3 (First Half Analysis)
The #Bills did not look great in the first half. That's an understatement. Below are the first half notes I have:
1) O-Line needs a better push. I like Chris Williams; but he was hot garbage in the first half. Pears entering the game because of a back injury MAY become a blessing for our Bills.
2) Defense needs to find that Chicago and Miami mentality. Our D was lights out in the first two games of the season. Until today; no plays of 20+ yards had been given up. Today; four. FOUR! Unacceptable.
3) We HAVE to dial in the play calling. Sammy Watkins had 1 target in the first half, then 3 straight targets in the middle of the 2nd quarter. EJ Manuel has made some spectacular plays to elude the pass rush, but he's been less than stellar today as well. Unacceptable passes when WRs are open hurt in the long run.
4) Stephon Gilmore needs to figure out if he can be the shut-down CB that the Buffalo media thinks he is. MY opinion; he's not.
