I am N'Jadaka, son of Prince N'Jobu! I found my daddy with panther claws in his chest! You ain't the son of a king, you're the son of a murderer! Black Panther (2018)
So...we know Erik killed in the US, he said it. Since itâs in the US, I imagine it wasnât with/for the army. Who do you think he killed/why?
Theories, headcanons?Â
Ok so if NâJadaka had lived, what would have happened, would TâChalla imprison him? Maybe (or some Wakandan might ask to chase him away from the country), but in the perspective of a very long and the most realistic possible redemption arc, I thought of two possibilities, after the initial temporary imprisonmentÂ
1) NâJadaka would be in a sort of âhouse arrestâ within the castle. Maybe Shuri can transform the kimoyo beads into a ankle bracelet like the people who are under house arrest have. But NâJadaka could walk around the palace/castle as he wished, so itâs not much of a punishment. Itâs like the story of one of the Queen of France who got âimprisonnedâ in the palace in the Champ du Luxembourg by her son the King. Thatâs royalty prison for you.Â
2) or he could be completely pardonned by TâChalla if he pledges allegiance to him and to not try to take the throne again. Thatâs nobility punishment.Â
Of course, those a the âkinder punishmentâ which could led to interesting stories, if people want harsher punishment âimprisonment forever (which NâJadaka, as he said, would do everything to get away from)â and âbeing exiledâ are possibilities, and Iâm sure thereâs other posibilies fans will come up with in fics.Â
