I would like to thank you for that addition to your post. A lot of the current problems would be if not solved, then the damage certainly much abated if things like reylo fanart (especially the explicit kind) were kept to the reylo tag.

It wouldn’t magically make everything alright, but I for one would be a lot less vehement about my stance on this ship if I could go into non-reylo tags in relative safety. Not to mention stop passing off the abuse in canon as romantic. I’m old enough in fandom that I’ve seen a lot of dark!ships come and go, and I understand the fascination. My problem comes when people romanticise it. (Which is why I have less of a problem with kylux, I’ve yet to see anyone doo that with them.)

And yes, I’d still have problems, but I’d likely be far less vocal about it. And I have to say that I’ve never engaged a shipper that didn’t talk to me first. Yes I count posting in the anti tag as “talking to me”.

Honestly, the thing about those tools - or rather the fact that they’re not available to everyone - have been repeated by antis so many times, that I’m really sort of surprised that anyone who’s read anything more than 2-3 wank posts in the anti tag can be surprised, because it’s been brought up again and again. And again.

You may have meant that people should respect each other, but for a lot of reylo shippers that seems to equate with respecting their ship not only over that of the well-being of people who are not only uncomfortable with it, but also those who are triggered by it. And there is a difference between those two, but we can skip the finer distinctions for now.

But yes I agree, respect for people should go first and things like sending death threats and/or rape threats is never okay. (I thought this would go without saying but apparently for some people on both side it doesn’t. So no, it’s not alright. Stop it.)

Though as far as I have seen the vocal anti blogs is very much against this and have spoken against this practise many times and tried to warn the reylo side too about that troll blog that popped up among other things, but we are not monolith and we have no control over neither each other, nor “private” individuals.

I'm so nervous... This is my first Tumblr, and I don't know exactly how one opens "properly" one, but well, I think that starting with some data can't do bad :)

My name's Eirenare, and I'm a 22 years old Spanish girl that absolutely loves raccoons, to read and write stories, to draw, and videogames, being one of my favourites League of Legends! :3 Also I enjoy manga and anime a lot.

I've been wanting to do a Tumblr since some time ago, but I didn't have decided the theme of it until today.

I wanted to open a Tumblr dedicated exclusively to League of Legends (I even thought about doing a LoL roleplay Tumblr), but I knew I didn't have enough material to make it as much interesting as I would want to, probably... So, since there are other things that I enjoy besides that game, this Tumblr will be a mixture of LoL and my own works.

What will you find here exactly? 

Mostly drawings, written stories and comics, but I have a Youtube Channel too, so maybe you'll see here some of my videos. You'll probably see, too, a lot of material dedicated to raccoons since I love them xD 

Oh, and this Tumblr will have both SFW and NSFW things, but I'll make sure to tag properly the NSFW things and put it under a "read more".
