Eigashima White Oak Akashi 5 year old Oloroso Sherry Cask #1484. Well balanced sherry cask Akashi. Zesty alcoholic and fermentation smell then fine sherry and honey, cacao with moderate peat and smoke, hint of sea shore aroma. With smooth - in comparison to other Akashi I mean - mouthfeel, honey and caramel, chocolate sweet flavor with herb and powdery peat and herb. Pencil lead like cacao and caramel lingering with winter spices and herb.

Eigashima White Oak Single Malt Whisky Akashi 8 year old Old Sherry Butt #188. Pretty rich sherry flavor Akashi. Rich sherry and honey, pencil lead with anise and peat, woodiness. With gooney mouthfeel, honey and raisin, cream flavor with winter spices and salty peat. Raisin and caramel lingering with winter spices.

Alcoholic but salty and sweet winy fragrance. With oily mouthfeel, simmered winy comport syrup without fruits and honey flavor with violets and charcoal, peaty and salty outline. Dry sweet lingering with winter spices.

With zesty mouthfeel, chocolate and sweet red fruits syrup flavor with pencil lead, peat and pepper. Chocolate and plum sweet lingering with peat and spices.

Eigashima White Oak Single Malt Whisky Akashi 4 year old Bourbon Cask Bo.1235. Fine bourbon cask. Rich vanilla and orange, dried woodiness with cinnamon and something fermentation aroma. With zesty mouthfeel, custard and coconuts flavor with orange peel and cinnamon. Zesty alcoholic and orange lingering with peppery spice. Quite similar to Peat Reek of Blackadder.
