It's really unfortunate that bus services from Beach Hospital area to Kozhikode Town had to be suspended from about 7:30am to 10:30am on account of #EidGah! I can only imagine the inconvenience caused to those who had nothing to do with the event, especially patients and those who look after them! I often fly into a rage when temple processions block Kallayi Road! Kozhikode Beach Open Stage isn't the right venue for a Samyukta(Joint) Eid Gah! Since thousands participate in it, the venue should be shifted to Kozhikode Corporation Stadium which is perfect for the occasion! Being centrally located, it's easier for the faithful to disperse after the Eid Gah! And I wish the pious would be considerate enough to leave their vehicles at home and use public transport instead, so that the town's traffic doesn't choke! As an undevout Muslim male, I can hardly wait for the #EidGah prayers to end in my part of the world, which happens to be Kozhikode! No other occasion gives me the opportunity to ogle at females of all shapes and sizes for almost an hour! The fairer sex doesn't seem to mind! On the contrary, I get the feeling that they're egging on people like me! Why else would they go to Eid Gah wearing hijabs and leave without them?! It's true! "He proposes, she exposes"! And no one can tell me to stop being a,'vaaynoakki' or M.L.A.(Mouth Looking Agent) because I've got a lie ready to go along the lines of,"I'm waiting for my daughter/sister/wife/mother..."; you get my gist?! And I thought that a month of fasting or Prophet Ibrahim's(Peace Be Upon Him) act of sacrifice would make females less rebellious, but no! They come out like it's the,'Kozhikode Fashion Show'!
