The second Mathilde heard there was a small fair in town, she knew she had to go. It was something she could do by herself and hey, maybe she’d meet some new people while she was out. She found herself in line for the ferris wheel and as people got on, she ended up at the front of line with someone next to them. The worker indicated how they’d be sharing, making her look at the person next to her. “That’s okay with me unless you’re here with someone...” She did glance behind her to make sure they weren’t with a partner or something, if they were she would have taken a step back for them to get on together. 

“pickle! there you are!” joey said, once he finally spotted his cat near someone, quickly making his way over to him and picking him up, holding him close. he gave his cat all the freedom he needed, but it was starting to get late and he still hadn’t been back. joey had been getting worried, so he decided to look out for him, and within five minutes he had spotted him. “what have i told you about selling drugs out in public? you can’t do that, you’ll get in trouble.” he whispered to his cat, as he held him close and then kissed his head, before looking at the person who had been standing there the whole time, before smiling at them. “pickle didn’t sell you anything, right? because if he did, i’m not sure if i would trust it... he’s just trying to get some money because his gig as a slumlord didn’t work. he just didn’t treat those families right.” he said, nodding his head as he looked back at his cat again.

spencer had a low tolerance for drunk people, but that tolerance only got lower whenever it came to a party in his frat house. it wasn’t his job to get rid of the people who stayed behind after the parties were over, but there he was, trying to get rid of the one person that had stayed behind. he needed to sleep, he had to wake up early the next day to study and this person was just cooperating. spencer grabbed them by the arm as he slowly and patiently started dragging them towards the door. “okay, c’mon, let’s get you out of here before i have to someone else who’s much stronger than me to actually throw you out. and trust me, you don’t want to see what brad is capable of, i’ve heard he’s...” he started saying, but then he realized that the person seemed like they were about to throw up all over his shoes. spencer didn’t think that he could move that quickly, but he moved away and then glared at them. “are you fucking stupid? were you really just about to throw up all over my shoes? these cost more than your entire closet, what the fuck?” he asked, looking around for someone who could help him out with this, but it didn’t seem like anyone was around.

it's a chilly night. maverick buttons up his wool peacoat and tucks his shoulders up, his university scarf shifting over his mouth and nose. it's obvious when he spots you. his eyes crinkle at the corners to show he's smiling, and the next words come out muffled but warm when he asks, "guess who nabbed one of the last boats?"

there's a key hooked around the middle finger of his right hand. it jangles when he holds it up to show off. "wanna head out to treasure island? their flea market's open tonight."

“hey, you!” opening her door swiftly, mariana called out the straggler passing by her bedroom. “why do you look like a lost puppy? relax, i just need your opinion on something...but you kinda have to come here.” grabbing the others wrist gently, she hurriedly rushed them into the room. “okay, now be honest with me...” her words trailed off as he closed the door, now turning to directly face the other, a worried expression tainting her features. “do these jeans make my ass look good?” she turned to the side for a second before doing a slow twirl. “don’t look at me like that, this is important!” one might’ve called this first world problems, but it was her problem...and when mari had a problem, it was certainly going to be everyone’s problem. “or, should i just go with that skirt over there? on the dresser?”
