I love you 5ever egg punk!!! All bangers jumping erratically between full-on punk ethos on tracks like Alone and Security to a sarcastic new wave-y vibe on tracks like D.A.C. and Hotline to outright silliness on tracks like 70 Degrees and Two Bugs. Notably most of these pairs are very close to each other in the album order, it's sequenced in such a way that these tones naturally flow into each other, creating a very complete picture in only 25 minutes. These varied tones are united by comically harsh garage rock production and the most danceable riffs you've ever heard. It's just plain fun, its absolutely obnoxious and nonstop and I love it. I feel like the crunchy super fake drums are a very important component of the vibe here, it feels so inherently sarcastic in a way that colors the whole thing regardless of the lyrical tone being set at any given point. Fun and based!!!
