Christmas - Pudim de ovos
Ingredients:
6 eggs
0,5l milk
250g sugar
2 tablespoons port wine (optional)
2 tablespoons cornflour
Homemade caramel syrup:
250g sugar
2 tablespoons water
Preparation:
Caramel syrup:
Put the sugar & the water in the pudding tin, turn on the stove, medium heat and let it cook until it gets amber color and liquid texture, don’t forget to stir occasionally. When syrup is ready, leave it to cool, until it’s caramelized.
Pudding:
Mix all the ingredients with a whisk or a spoon, then put the mixture in the caramelized tin & close with the lid. Now in bain-marie let it cook for 35 minutes.
Leave it to cool and then put it on the fridge. You can only unmould the pudding when it’s really cold. Enjoy it!
