Dalhousie Memorial Arch sits over the road in Edzell like a gateway. The arch was designed in 1888 & built to commemorate the death of the John William Maule Ramsay & Lady Ida Louisa 13th Earl & Countess of Dalhousie. Both were taken in on a journey & died in Le Harve on the same day. 24th November 1887. Nice evening for another walk to Doulie Tower, I’ve been looking at some insta accounts of abandoned buildings & ruins. Tried to get that type of feel to the photo. There’s a lot more vegetation since the last time I was here & the lights totally different, quiet difficult to achieve what I was try to do. Think it’s turned out not to bad though.
