Archmage's introduction to electronic music began from his peers introducing him to various electronic genres, but bass music truly stood out to him from his first listening experience. Archemage creates his music with great intricacy, each song a chapter of a story following characters of a fantasy universe of his creation. His goal is to build on the themes of that universe to create an immersive story and stimulate the audience with pure, raw energy, creating a lasting emotional and physical connection. While living in the UK, his first taste of dance music came in the late 80s and early 90s while going to clubs like Manchester’s legendary Hascienda and ThunderdomeVIVID moved to the US in ’92 to attend University. Wanting to get more involved with the music that filled his life, VIVID started DJing in the mid 90s in Greensboro, NC. Focusing on Trance and Funky Breaks he quickly shot up the ranks and acquired residencies with the iconic First Friday in Greensboro, Phunkedelic in Charlotte, Lifted in Raleigh and Radiance in Chapel Hill. VIVID also traveled and played extensively throughout the South East, from DC to West Palm Beach and the East Coast as far west as St Louis.In 1999 VIVID was signed and released a mix compilation CD “Delicate Sounds of The Underground Vol.II” on United Trance Recordings. This is available on most streaming sites today (iTunes, Google Play, Spotify, etc.) Eventually, this travel schedule caught up with VIVID and he had to take an extended break from playing music to focus on family.Now though, he is back at it and has quickly become a staple in the Atlanta scene. His music tastes have changed a bit and he’s morphed into a Techno and House DJ. In 2017 alone VIVID has been direct support for Ferry Corsten and then Gareth Emery at Opera for Liquified. He played Imagine Festival with EDM superstars Tiesto, Deadmau5 and Above & Beyond with more than 30,000 attendees. He has also played Sunday Service w/ Vicki Powel for Deep South, The Heretic for Wussy Mag’s NSA party, and is becoming a regular at IRIS. VIVID has also been featured in the publications WussyMag, ONE:EDM and EDM Identity.While 2017 was a great year for VIVID, 2018 looks even more promising. He recently became the newest resident DJ for Liquified, one of the biggest promoters in the area, who has been throwing events since the early 90s. Liquified thrills with their weekly Illuminate series at Opera, and special events at major venues like The Tabernacle, Atlanta Coliseum and the Roxy. VIVID is also set to take the main stage at IRIS supporting Drezo, and has been tipped to support Grum and also Chus & Ceballos. Being the son of a Navy man, Traffik had the opportunity to travel all over the country soaking in a variety of different influences. As a young boy, Traffik was always singing and writing songs and won numerous talent shows, singing in front of large audiences. In fact, while stationed in Tampa, Traffik stole the show and delivered a heartfelt rendition of an old school country song, Ships that Don't Come In. This singular moment helped Traffik realise that the limelight was his destiny and from that point forward it was all about the music. Fast Forward through high school. It wasn't until Traffik enrolled into Missouri State University that his love for EDM spiraled into a lifelong expedition. Traffik was invited to his first Rave in Kansas City, Missouri, called GoodTimes 2000. That event captured Traffik's heart and attention and from that point forward, and for years to come, you could find him out on the dancefloors, dancing, and enjoying the sounds of Electronic Music. Behind the scenes however, Traffik was diving deep into Electronic Music Production. Using sample based DAW's, e.g.: TechnoEJay and MagikMusic Maker, Traffik created various experimental tracks. These tracks were shared and appreciated amongst his friends and family. Something was missing however. The sounds that Traffik was seeking alluded him, and so he began spinning records. Heavily involved in the the nightlife, Traffik spent many hours perfecting the art of turntablism. Learning and experimenting on Technics 1200's and a Pioneer DJM-600, Traffik would spin for 8-10 hours every day. He hosted house parties, and eventually made his way out to the club. Traffik, under various monikers performed at raves, one-offs, and other events, spinning house, trance, breaks, and other EDM genres. It wasn't long after that Traffik was summoned to Atlanta. Here he met several local but nationally recognized dj's, and began to play out regularly. Traffik has had the distingusihed privledge of playing, Filter, Quad, SoundTable, Opera, and others and though no stranger to Atlanta's Nightlife, Traffik also has been recognized for his music by having the honor of opening for Gabriel & Dresden, Richard Humpty Vision, Monk, and numerous others. As part of Mode Entertainment, Traffik got involved with the production and showcase of other artists e.g.: FloRida, Red Jump Suit Apparatus, and Kanye West, who was the guest performer for our SuperBowl Party hosted in Jacksonville, Florida.Fast forward a few more years, and Traffik can be found as the lead event organizer for RaveWorx productions. This wild tailed creature creature Starting at 13, this DJ/producer took the talents passed down to him from his father from birth. Starting with just a pair of technic 1200's, a vestax mixer and an array of hip-hop, house, and techno records. After discovering fl studio 7, he proceeded to tweak,experiment, and study the program more than his school work and soon started making ep’s and copies to sell at his school and around the neighborhood.He spent the next 4 years perfecting his craft of mixing and turntablism.
