RULES UPDATE: VOTING
So, originally the plan was to have people vote on the most valid take, but the loser with the least support would be the one to advance.
The idea was that the last take standing, having received the fewest votes in every round, must be the most red-hot take.
But I've had a change of heart.
Instead, we're going to take these boiling takes and by majority, declare one of them to be the actual truth, no matter what that turns out to be.
So, the question will remain the same - 'which take is the most valid' - but now the option voted most valid will advance.
Then, the overall winner will be elevated from "hot take" and will be declared the most objective fact of all time forever.
The rule about voting remains the same - if you see the poll, even on accident, you are morally obligated to vote - no pretending you didn't see it.
There is one more rule. Whatever the winner of the poll is, no matter how much you hate it, you must embrace it as the truth.
It doesn't matter how much you hate pineapple - if pineapple on pizza ends up sweeping the whole thing, you're just going to have to accept the fact that it's actually the best topping for the rest of your life.
(I'll update the pinned post with this new info.)
