the three of them are best friends growing up like they're attached at the hip except for being in different grades at school

his older sister is three years older than him but she's just as dramatic as the other two. she can be responsible when it's required of her but she prefers to be equals with her siblings, not the one in charge

his younger sister is only a year younger and everyone expected him and her to be the closest out of the siblings but it's always been a trio and it will always be a trio

his older sister is the one who introduces the three of them to the tan tan girls and they all are down bad

his older sister is straight as they come. when she got a boyfriend in high school, onagawa and his little sister used all of their middle school animosity to give the boyfriend a shovel talk. they also were her biggest supporters when they broke up.

onagawa takes a while to figure out his sexuality so it's actually his little sister that comes out first (she's a lesbian) and she's met with overwhelming support from her siblings

it's actually what kickstarts onagawa's sexuality crisis because if his beloved baby sister can be gay what about him and oh no some of his friends are actually really pretty and oh god he's gay isn't he (he's actually pan)

the most onagawa has ever cried is the day his older sister left for college. the three of them had been attached at the hip since before he could remember and now they were being separated. her college is in sendai so it isn't that far from iwanuma but it's still farther than any of them have ever been from each other. onagawa is only just starting high school and he wants to be able to rely on his sister when things get tough. she promises to call both of them as much as she can. (the second most he's ever cried is a month later when he moves into the gymnastics dorm at school and feels terrible for leaving his little sister behind before either of them had expected)

when they go to visit their older sister at school in sendai, she surprises them with tickets to a ttg concert and it's the best night of onagawa's life (except maybe winning regionals two years later with his team)

they all stan a different girl but they support each other more than any sort of fandom rivalry could influence. sometimes they jokingly fight about who's better but no one really means it.

they go out of their way to be at all of onagawa's competitions. sometimes it's hard to his older sister to get there all the way from sendai so on the rare occasion she can't clear her schedule, his litter sister films it for her to watch later.

they are each other's biggest supporters
