this evidence is all secondary to just: their personalities suit each other WAAAAAAAAAY more than either of them with dimitri- theyre both willing to occasionally trample the weak for the greater good, theyre both witty, theyre both very introspective, the vibes are just great. they bounce off each other in interesting ways. i want to be in the room when they talk politics and policy please please pleaaaase

them Sizing each other up, acknowledging each other's secretive nature, both of them having their major dream (they are both more Active characters vs dimitris Reactive, which is another reason why i think they gel better). and of course calling her beautiful lol

evidence 2: their battle dialogues

overt flirtation, edelgard not wanting to kill him, acknowledgement of their shared ideals, its all There

evidence 3: the scene that happens in crimson flower if you spare claude. this is maybe the only instance in Three Houses where two lords just have a peaceful conversation post-white clouds

im running out of images to share but these few moment speak for themselves. edelgard letting him leave, the implication that theyll see each other again one day...

evidence 4: three hopes. like, in general. i had to pick One scene and this is it

like this so EASILy could have been all business. they have no reason to be bantery/flirty like this unless they just Wanted to be. but jokes aside, the three hopes alliance between them was a ray of sunshine from above for the edelclaude nation. we got told, in no uncertain terms, that if claude had to chose a side, it would be edelgard's. and if you make the right choices, there is no betrayal, its just a mutually beneficial alliance that gets them both what they want. the writers were TELLING us that the two of them had the right idea. its just Mwah

Oh, wow... Normally, I try to follow ships that have in-game supports. I will say that technically, this ship can exist if Claude is still alive at the end of CF and returns to Almyra. So, hell, why not.

The King of Almyra and the Emperor of Adrestia having children together would likely require that, to be frank. Unless Edelgard abandoned her throne and absconded to Almyra - or vice versa.

For the sake of this post, I will assume both are the leaders of their respective nations.

Sibling Dynamic

If the sun and moon were people. As siblings... they probably wouldn't be very close, and it's no one's fault.

Seigfried's strange and unique situation would certainly be a curiosity to her, though. Sarah would unfortunately have to watch her little brother grow up from a relative distance due to his weak constitution as a little kid, unable to engage in the things she likes to do with him by her side. With how social her life is, most of what she'd know about Seig would be secondhand, either through rumor or asking the Imperial vassals of House Vestra.

As far as she'd be able to tell, her baby brother would be nothing more than a ghost haunting the halls of Enbarr Castle.

Seigfried, for his part, would prefer she stay away, not because he dislikes her, but because he'd rather she not waste her time on him and just go live her life doing what she loves. No one likes having a dead goose hanging over their shoulder. He would enjoy watching her dance, though, either from his bedroom window overlooking the courtyard, or at important social events he can actually attend. And her singing would make him happy when it rings through the halls.

Thing is, he wouldn't push her away if she wanted to interact with him, and knowing Sarah, she would be trying the whole time. She'd sneak into his room as a kid while he's napping and just observe him a while, maybe even catch some z's nearby. He'd know she was there by the smell of her hair; she always smells nice.

By the time they're both reaching young adulthood, they'd probably have been around each other more often, catching up on the things neither of them know about each other. After all, their childhoods would have been so different. They'd grow as entirely separate people with little overlap. Branwen and the other vassals would essentially haven taken her place in his life, so at least he wouldn't be entirely lonely.

Being the children of monarchs from two different countries would ultimately have the expected result, though: being separated. Sarah to Almyra, Seigfried to Fodlan.
