This year I finally made one of my dreams come true. I went home for the first time. I went to EDC and I can full heartedly say it was the best time of my life ever. If I could, I'd live at EDC for the rest of my life. There, all problems, stress, anxiety, demons, troubles, chaos, and terror just disappear. All I feel there is peace, love, unity, and respect from everyone I encounter. There, there are no strangers, it's just family. I can be myself and be judged my no one. You don't have to act a certain way. All you need to do is be you. It's such a release from the real world, cause back here we're told what to do, what not to do, how we need to dress, how to act, how to talk, how to be happy. But at EDC it doesn't matter what anyone else tells you to do. Do what makes you happy cause that's all that matter. I miss being there cause I can't do that here. I'm constantly stressing, having anxiety, afraid, alone, depressed, and angry. I hate feeling like that, but for that weekend I felt none of those. I was just in paradise. EDC isn't just a rave, it's MY escape from all the bullshit that brings me down. It's my hideaway, and I can't wait to be back there again. It's where I truly belong. ❤
