WHY DOES ECTOR IN ASITE SHARE THE EXACT SAME FEATURES AS THE DA’NEERS???
This is like a realisation moment for me.
Ector, One of Nyktos’s guards in A Shadow in the Ember, is described as being fair haired or blonde. He also has Amber eyes and a tall, slender build with sharp features.
Valyn Da’neer is the father of Casteel and Malik, the Da’neer who married into the Atlantian Royal line. He has amber eyes, he used to have golden, blonde hair but has now given way to a silvery white. Poppy also describes Valyn as a tall, blonde man with high check bones.
Malik Da’neer has shoulder length light brown hair, with hints of blond. Sharp cheekbones, straight nose and full mouth. He has golden bronze skin. His eyes are golden-amber. Malik is skinnier and more slender than Casteel.
Casteel is said by Poppy numerous times that he has his father’s (Valyn) face, but his Mother’s hair and poise. So, I’m assuming he has the same structure as Valyn and Malik. Even though he withholds certain elements on his Mother’s side rather than his Father’s, so I’m not going to note him.
But anyone else thinking what I’m thinking…?
